Printing on plexiglass, opal or clear methacrylate panels
Plexiglass or Perspex panels (both cast methacrylate) can be printed on the front side or on the back side. In case of back printing it is possible to print white in order to create a compact or a partial background for the picture. The use of white as fifth colour enables to print even onto clear rigid materials providing photo-quality rendering. Printing on any non-white surface usually alters colours in a picture, while by laying white it is possible to enhance colours keeping them look natural. Printing on Plexiglass, Panels Up to 4 Meters
Printing on Plexiglass (or acrylic glass) is widely used in design projects, for desks and furniture, paneling, displays, screens, and dividers.
Plexiglass is an excellent alternative to glass because it is shatterproof, lighter, and transparent or colored, which is why it is also called acrylic glass.
When illuminated, Plexiglass creates a beautiful visual effect, which is why it is used for plaques, displays, and signs. The print quality is excellent thanks to our experience and our Durst machinery.
The Plexiglass panel is easy to transport, difficult to break, and prints with photographic quality.
Choose transparent Plexiglass to enhance your communications and promotions. Use it as a decorative element, print a picture for your office, or order a backlit sign.
The panel measures 300 x 200 cm. If you collect it on-site, it will be printed full size; otherwise, the image will be divided into multiple 150 x 200 cm panels. (If a single piece is required, for example, 390 x 100 cm, the customer must select the 4x2 panel. This service is offered exclusively to those who collect with their own vehicle or send their own courier.)
Choose the right plexiglass panel for you. Transparent plexiglass panels in 3, 5, and 8 mm thicknesses up to 300 x 200 cm. You can print on the back, apply a white background, or print white in specific areas. If you don't print the white, the print will reveal the background, which is widely used in furniture and design. Finish the plexiglass with a polished edge. If you want to diffuse light well, and if you're creating a panel with an exposed edge, polish it. Your panel will shine.
